A quick reminder of the second Beer Festival Planning Meeting to be held at the Old Cottage Tavern at 8pm on Tuesday 30th October.
Many of the committee positions have been filled, but there’s still lots to do. Hope to see you there!
Following in the footsteps of several pubs, The Royal Oak in Barton-under-Needwood, will being offering 10p off a pint of real ale to CAMRA members. Just flash your membership card Monday to Friday and feel smug!

The first meeting of the Committee to plan and discuss the 2013 Burton Beer Festival (the 34th!) is happening this week. Come along at 8pm on Tuesday 2nd October to the Burton Old Cottage.
It’s time to get excited about the NBC festival. For the second year, Burton CAMRA are supporting the National Brewery Centre in the running of their September festival.
Well, that’s it for another year. The Great British Beer Festival closes it’s doors until next year.
For those not familiar, over 800 cask and bottle ales, ciders and foreign beers all “crammed” into the Olympia in Hammersmith. Lots of food, entertainment and a nice break from a certain sporting event happening in the Capital.
