The 2014 Burton Festival is almost upon us! The next planning meeting to (informally!) discuss Festival matters is happening on March 4th 2014 at the Burton Old Cottage at 8pm.
Getting involved in the Festival is a great way to support your branch, meet people and learn a thing or two about our favourite drink! All members welcome, all help appreciated!
The Beer Festival committee have been working tirelessly (apart from a few well-timed ale breaks) to bring together this years Burton Beer Festival and we’re nearly there! The festival will have:
- 60+ cask ales, Cider, Perry, Fruit Wine and a driver’s bar (PLEASE don’t drive if you’re drinking!).
- Free or reduced entry to CAMRA members
- Hot and cold food/snacks available at all sessions
- Martin Atterbury on the Wurlitzer organ at the lunchtime sessions (has to be seen to be believed!)
- Evening entertainment
Burton Beer Festival are also proud to be hosting a judging round for the Champion Beer Of Britain Specialty beer! Winners to be announced at the festival.
If you’ve not been to the Burton Festival before, the venue is one-of-a-kind and is convenient to get to by train, bus or car. As with previous years, we’re running a cash bar. More info including the line up for entertainment and the beer list on the festival page.
