Friday 29th May. Meet at the Brickmakers, Newton Solney at 7:00pm. Cycling to The Boot Inn, Repton, then onto The Swann at Milton and continuing onto the Waterloo at Winshill via Repton Hollows and Knights Road for food and refreshments (no set fee but a donation will be required) at 10:00 p.m. please let Peter Rose know if you are coming to enable the right amount of food to be ordered. Do take the opportunity to do some beer scoring as well.
Friday 10th April. Meet at the Sump, Winsill at 6:45pm. Cycle along Newton Road to The Boot, Repton. Then cross the river Trent to Willington and along the A5132 to the Old Talbot at Hilton. From Hilton cycle through Marston on Dove to the Rolleston Club, Burnside where sandwiches and chips will be provided for £3.50 per person at 10:15pm. Please let Peter Rose know if you are coming to allow food to be pre booked. Do take the opportunity to do some beer scoring as well.
Thursday 01st January, Annual New Years Day Walk ‘Sinai Stagger’. Start at The Albion, Shobnall Road car park at 11am. Please have weather proof clothing and footwear as parts of the walk will be over farmland and the Branston Water Park. Pubs and beer will be involved !! All CAMRA branches welcome to join in. Tuesday 30th December. Christmas cycle ride. Meet at the Burton Bridge Inn at 10am, going onto The Staff of Life, Ticknall and then onto the Swann, Milton. If the weather is bad an alternative will be to call at the Sump, Newton Road, the Unicorn or the Brickmakers, Newton Solney or the Red Lion, Repton. Please let Peter Rose know if you are coming. Food is available but needs pre booking from a menu that Peter has. Do take the opportunity to do some beer scoring as well.
Saturday 27th December, Bartons Arms, Aston Birmingham. Depart from Burton Bridge 10am, return by 9:30pm calling at a pub on the way home. Picking up and dropping off at Scalpcliffe Road, Stapenhill Church, Branston Church, Barton Main Street, Alrewas and Lichfield Bus Station. No buffet this year but meals can be purchased. Only 33 seats available so book soon. Please contact May Arthur.
Friday 19th December, Start at the Borough Arms 7 to 7:30pm, then onto The Roebuck, The Devonshire and the Coopers Arms finishing with a meal. Carry out tubs of beer can be taken into the restaurant. Please contact May Arthur by 09th December.
Meet at the Borough Arms, Borough Road near the Town Hall, Friday 31st October 2014 at 6:45 pm. Leave at 7:00 pm onto the Acorn via Henhurst Hill then along Hopely Road to the Burnt Gate. From here through Anslow to drop down Beam Hill to cross the A511 to the Beacon. Then finally through Stretton to the Beech on the A5121 for 10pm for sandwiches and chips at £3 each. Friday 17th October, Branch Social Supper at The Leopard Inn, Tutbury. The Branch have been invited to attend a Branch Social Supper by the Landlady. This is a thank you, for getting scores into HQ, which got the pub into the GBG 2015. Please contact May Arthur ASAP so that food can be organised. MEMBERS MUST have an up to date membership card with them to receive a special offer kindly put on by the landlady.
